Lightning is one of the most frightening things in nature, full of power, destruction, and wonder. I wonder what would have happened if Benjamin Franklin would have looked at the lightning and said, "It's too much to deal with. I can't handle the unknown." What would our lives be like now? The beautiful thing is that Mr. Franklin looked at the terror and saw transcendence. He stood in the presence of the power to gain its potential.

We as Christians sometimes look at the unknown with fear. We fail to see the wonder and the beauty that God has put right before us; all we see is the dread. Be always ready to step out into the path that God has prepared. When we see the lightning, remember that God is just cutting through the darkness.

Simply amazing and awe-inspiring! What if George Foreman never endorsed the George Foreman Grill? Can you imagine where this world would be? Only God knows!

Thanks for you very spiritual assessment, Jeremy. What if Little Debbie had never started baking?

This is a great thought. Sometimes the things we fear most are the things that change our worlds forever. Thanks for inspiring me to step out beyond fear and reach into faith. By the way I would be fine without George Forman grills or Little Debbie cakes.

We as humans have a built in fear of change. We like things to just keep on keeping on, Please no one rock the boat,by thinking about a change of direction. Yet, the time will come when a change of direction is very needed.

ps;
Not all change is good. But it never hurts to try.
